Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia

This year, PostgreSQL Conference Europe will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia in the city of Tallinn

Visitors from out of town can also take advantage of staying at the hotel, to get the easiest possible access to the conference, our events and seeing the city!

Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia is located in the city center, close to the historic old town of Tallinn with all it's attractions. The hotel is close to all forms of transportation with Lennart Meri Airport just 3km from the hotel.

Booking

Our negotiated rate with the hotel is no longer available, booking should be done via the normal channels. If you haven't booked accomodation yet we recommend doing so now.

Arriving by air

Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia is only 3 kilometres from the Lennard Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL), close to the city’s seaport and just steps away from the main bus stop in Tallinn.

By bus

The airport bus stops are located on the ground floor in front of the passenger terminal. Use the escalator or lift in the terminal to get to the bus stops quickly and conveniently. Tallinn public transport bus No. 2 can be used to get to the hotel. Bus line No. 2 runs from the city centre to Mõigu and stops at the airport going both ways. The timetable can be found here. If you use bus No.2, it is only 5 stops away and takes 11 mins from Lennujaam (airport) to Tornimäe, then you need to walk 7 mins (550 m) to Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia. The Tallinn public transport card as well as single tickets are valid in public city buses. Tickets are sold by the driver when you enter the bus. The cost of a single ticket is 2 EUR. You can only use cash to buy a ticket from the bus driver.

By taxi

Important! Taxi rates are not limited by law in Estonia. Before you start your ride, make sure that the rate is acceptable to you and, if possible, ask the driver for the estimated fare. You can order a taxi to the car park in front of the terminal, located behind the official taxi park, but bear in mind that the taxi can only stay in that car park for 15 minutes.

Taxi from airport to the hotel (conference venue) should take approximately 10 minutes.

The cheapest way of using taxi is Taxify app. You can have a taxi ride in most of Tallinn for approximately 5-12 EUR. Details about Taxify app on their website.

After you download the app, you probably want to change the language settings to English, as it It comes in Estonian by default. Then you can order your taxi via the app. You can either pay cash or by card.

Arriving by ferry

If you plan to use ferry for your travel, you should visit the Port of Tallinn website. Schedules are available here.

Local transportation

You can purchase a ticket from the driver (at the price of 2 EUR - cash only) for one ride. You must enter the bus using the front door, to purchase the ticket. A passenger is required to keep the ticket until the end of the ride. A single ride ticket is not marked, punched or validated.

You can purchase a Public Transport Card for the price of 2 EUR. The cards can be purchased in various points of sale. You can load money onto your Public Transport Card or buy an e-ticket. It can be done at a point of sale, with a mobile phone, or on Internet.
